Café Skolhuset

Housed in a beautifully restored 1890 schoolhouse, Café Skolhuset serves traditional Swedish lunches and homemade fika in a warm, welcoming setting. The building has been transformed into a vibrant community hub, also home to a hair salon, massage studio, art gallery and other local businesses.

Gutenviks Gård

Open throughout the year, Gutenviks Gård celebrates the changing seasons with a wonderful selection of locally grown produce. In autumn and winter, you'll find an abundance of potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions, squash and other seasonal vegetables, available from its convenient self-service farm stand.

Getting Around

Östergarnslandet is connected to Visby and other parts of Gotland by public bus, making it possible to explore the island without a car. Many residents also enjoy cycling between villages during suitable weather, while artists choosing to rent a car will find the area easy to navigate year-round with appropriate winter tires.
